What you may do
You may use Internet Monitor for free, at home or at work. You may also copy it, change it and share it. When you share it, include the license with it, and if you changed it, say so clearly.
You may not offer Internet Monitor to others as a hosted or managed service, and you may not remove or hide its license, copyright or other notices.
Versions before 2.0.0 were released under the MIT license.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. The license says:
As far as the law allows, the software comes as is, without any warranty or condition, and the licensor will not be liable to you for any damages arising out of these terms or the use or nature of the software, under any kind of legal claim.
About the measurements
Results are measured from your computer. Wi-Fi signal, other devices on your network, a firewall, or the computer going to sleep can all affect them. Reports are a record of what your computer saw, not a certified measurement, and your provider may or may not accept them.
Use it fairly
Only point checks and speed tests at servers you're allowed to use. Don't set very short intervals against servers you don't run. When you use Cloudflare, GitHub, Discord, Slack or Telegram through the app, their own terms apply.
Changes
These terms may change in a new version. The date at the top shows the last update, and changes are listed in What's new.
